Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The ceiling light panels have mixed reviews. Some positives include satisfactory installation and results for a few customers. However, many report significant quality and sizing issues. The panels are often 1-2 inches smaller than the advertised 24" x 48" dimensions, making them difficult to properly fit. The material is described as thin, brittle, and prone to cracking or shattering, even during installation. Overall, customers recommend carefully verifying the actual product dimensions before purchasing due to the common mismatch with the advertised size.

Would Not RecommendEvery piece on the shelf that was what I needed, was broken.
Read the Measurements Before You Buy
The website says they sell 24”x48” panels but they ones at the store are smaller (23.25”x47.75”). So they were too narrow for my needs.

Fluorescent lighting
Would RecommendReplace my Fluorescent fixtures with LED's and replaced the yellowed panels that were 30 years old, These are non-yellowing.

Do the job
Would RecommendThese aren't fancy or stylish, but they do the job. If you need to cut it, measure twice, wear eye protection, go slow, use a tool designed for the job.

Brittle, not true to size
Would Not RecommendAlthough I knew it would be cheap material due to the price, I didn’t realize it would break the minute I lifted it up to install it, also it was supposed to be 24” x 48”, it was about 1/2” short on both sides. Don’t waste your time or money.

THEY CHANGED THE SIZE
Would Not RecommendI tried to put this in my bathroom overhead sky light. IT DIDN'T FIT! They made the length and the width 2 inches SMALLER. WHAT??? WHAT? I going to pull all the tiles down put-up all new tiles two inches smaller? You better think again. I just go to a reputable store that has the 48 times 24 inches real Light Panels and buy them there. They should give you a choice whether you want to buy the big panel(48X24) or the new SMALLER PANEL(46X22). They always changing products for the WORST AND ALWAYS...

Not 2x4
Be sure to measure before buying. It is not 2x4, not about an inch shorter. I still made it work, but not very happy.

Panel difficult to cut
Would Not RecommendWould only recommend this panel and cutter for someone experienced in cutting panels. We had a hard time getting a consistent depth cut with the supplied cutter. Consequently it was difficult to bend and create a straight cut.

Plastic Prism ceiling light panels-white $10.00 ea
Would Not RecommendThese panels are very difficult to cut to size they are very brittle and crack very easy. I am not sure if there is a certain tool used to cut these with but i had a very hard time cutting them. If you are using them without having to cut them they might be ok but you still need to be very careful when installing as they are very brittle and will crack.

Impossible to cut
Would Not RecommendFollowed the directions from the video. Both panels I tried DID NOT snap along the line I scored almost all the way through the panel. They both just randomly snapped however they wanted. Absolutely impossible to work with correctly.
Optix Panels
Would RecommendI had no problems installing this product. Very flexible with no cracking, chipping or other issues mentioned in other reviews. Easy to score and cut with an industrial razor knife. Would buy again.
