Ratings & Reviews for OPTIX 24-in x 48-in 7.12-sq ft Prism Ceiling Light Panels
Ratings may include incentivized customer reviews.
What Customers Are Saying
The ceiling light panels have mixed reviews. Some positives include satisfactory installation and results for a few customers. However, many report significant quality and sizing issues. The panels are often 1-2 inches smaller than the advertised 24" x 48" dimensions, making them difficult to properly fit. The material is described as thin, brittle, and prone to cracking or shattering, even during installation. Overall, customers recommend carefully verifying the actual product dimensions before purchasing due to the common mismatch with the advertised size.

Would Not RecommendIt is not 24x48. It is essentially 2" smaller and therefore does not fit properly.

Would Not RecommendThere's a reason for reviews lower than Duralens: Both advertized as 24" x 48" but.... Optix is 1 13/16 narrower in width & 1 9/16 shorter in length - Duralens' is only ¼ in both directions Optix is "break-resistant" - Duralens is "virtually unbreakable" Optix has no warranty - Duralens is for 10 years Not worth the $2 savings
Great product. True to size. Easy to cut. Label removal was effortless.
Wrong Size
Would Not RecommendThese are NOT 2x4 as listdd. They are 22-3/16x46-7/16.
Smaller than described
Would Not RecommendThe product actually measures shorter than what it states

Looks Great
Would RecommendLow cost fix for my old broken panel. They cut it in the store with no cracks or splits. Looks Great!
Not 24 inches wide.
Would RecommendThis would have been great but they weren't wide enough, they weren't 24 inches wide, more like 22 inches wide. So I will be returning them.

too brittle
Would Not RecommendI purchased this item because it was not so flexible like the other options. I was going to trim it to be 16" wide. However, as I was loading into my car, it bent and split halfway across. It completely broke before I could make it back into the store. I doubt I would have been able to trim it without it splitting.
Great product, terrible customer service
Would RecommendThe ceiling panel is great - I would have given it 5 stars except the pick up for online orders was terrible. The pickup location was not well marked - it was actually blocked by the people standing in line for returns. Once I finally found the pickup area and someone to get my order, I was handed the 4 fluorescent tubes and a 2x4 ceiling panel, all loose. I asked for a bag or a box, and they told me they didn't have any. No carts in sight, no offer to help. I did manage to make it to my car wit...
