Melrose Rug Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rug has the most horrible odor . I put baking powder on it then sprayed it with Febreze. Nothing made the smell go away. I could only take the smell about one day and I had to remove it from my home.

Comfort and amazing color

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rug is very comfortable. The tan and darker color blend and add a subtle darker color to the mostly lighter colors in the family room. The quality seems great.very happy with this selection.

Great versatile rug!

Better than I had hoped!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Chose this rug for my baby son's bedroom and couldn't be more pleased! It's a medium pile, feels soft under foot, and while it sheds a little (the price you pay for a wool rug!) it's definitely not as bad as others I've had in the past. The color is as pictured and it's really just a beautiful rug. Very pleased and a great value for the price.

Beautiful Checked rug

The brown colored checked rug. It’s beautiful against my white bedding and added the elevation I was looking in my bedroom. No issues with shedding. It’s nice and thick as well. Good quality.

Love-Hate Relationship

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t know how to rate this rug. We do love it as it brightens our family room, it looks modern and minimalist. But we also hate it as it sheds TERRIBLY! Our socks and clothes got all dirty from how much the rug sheds. And if you’re like us, who actually gets rugs to sit on, instead of just for your room to look good, then I must say that this isn’t a good rug for that. Great rug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My daughter has this rug in her living room and after looking for days for other rugs, I had to get it. Looks great. Perfect height for under my bed. Only complaint was the box was torn and partially opened when delivered.

Major shedding

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The rug looks nice, still sheds 4 months after installation, also feels a bit rough to touch. The shedding is a bigger concern as it clogs us the vacuum quickly.

Scratchy

Horrible material. Scratchy and tiny fibers ***** at you. Got rid of it.

Decent rug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Quality of the rug seems good. Sheds a ton, but that is typical of all wool rugs for the first few months in my experience. I definitely should have checked for a swatch first, because the Chestnut color is far more brown than I was expecting.

Smells

This is the second rug I’ve bought from here and they have both smelled awful. I had to remove it from my house because my whole first floor smells like chemicals. The quality is not there. I would stay away if you are considering buying.

Warm reddish brown

I was hoping the chestnut color would be a warmer deep tone leaning red (vs straight brown), and it was. The color is stunning. The rug is thick. Not the softest but very comfortable to walk on. There was one spot with a tiny discoloration, but my furniture ended up covering it.

Lovely rug but not great for a home with cats

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish I had known before purchasing that my cat loves to scratch this kind of material. The wool easily comes undone so there are random loops popping up. It’s also hard to clean—lots of fuzz that I have to scrape up with my fingers. For those that like laying on the ground, this is not very comfortable for that so it would be better suited in an area where you’re not laying on the carpet.
