Attractive rug, with some flaws

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design of the rug is nice. I am a little disturbed by a weird "hard" and scratchy area at the center of the rug. When rubbing the area it seemed "gravelly" and some white crumbly bits came off. I am not sure this should be happening for the price.

Shedding!!!!

This rug is really beautiful, but so poorly made. It sheds so much, I've vacuumed it multiple times and it fills my vacuum each time. I also keep getting poked, there are small little thorn-type pieces in it that stick in my socks. Very uncomfortable to sit on and so much shedding. I will be returning.

Does not hold up awful quality

Terrible quality, rug was not cheap and it has loose threads all over and the edges are fraying. I’ve had this for less than 6 months. When I reach out to rugs USA they offered me 10% off for the next 48 hours..do not recommend

Beautiful rug

This is a beautiful rug and the color will go with anything. It's also very soft! I love the way it makes the room look!

Beautiful and great quality!

Fits perfectly in my small apartment! Very thick and you can tell the quality is really nice. Will say the color is more brown than expected but I think in certain lights it looks more red! Overall really happy with my purchase.

Beautiful rug

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rug is beautiful and well made. The pattern scared me a little when I opened the box (I bought the brown and thought it resembled bricks.) But once I finally laid it down it did not look like bricks any more. It was the perfect reset for my living room. Enjoy the photo with my mastiff loving the rug too :)

Great look and feel but 2 weeks and still hasn't flattened out

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the rug aesthetic and feel. Beautiful colors and texture, feels high quality. However - I have it unrolled in the bedroom, and its been 2 weeks and its still wavey... hasn't flattened out yet. I'm still waiting.

Lovely rug, but a dead cockroach inside!

It feels like it is good quality and will last a long time, and I love the variation in the lines so despite it being light-colored it hides dirt well. However, when I first opened the rug there were dirty spots, and a cockroach was embedded in the rug! I have bought many rugs from Rugs USA, but this has left me really disappointed.

Rug sheds so much - not worth it

This rug's design is nice but every time I vacuum with an empty dust bin, it's FILLED up. I don't understand where all this shedding is coming from. I vacuum my rug 2x at once and get 2 filled dust bins each time - it's disgusting. I don't recommend this at all UNLESS you want to see rug particles all around your home on a daily basis or want to vacuum several times a week. I read the reviews before purchasing and a lot of them said it sheds, I didn't think it would be too bad but IT IS. Regret ...

Wanted to love

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wanted to love this rug so badly. I’d be lying if I said it didn’t shed like a dog. I vacuum this rug every other day and I still find stray fibers all over our clothes and house. It treks everywhere! Perhaps it would do better in a lower track area, we have it as our main living room rug. We have had it for 3 months and I have to empty our Dyson after vacuuming it every single time. Do not recommend :(

Not what was expected

I ordered this rug for my living room, first of all the smell was the first thing I noticed. The rug is also not soft and does shed.

Cozy and modern

The Melrose is better than I expected. The colors and design is very simple but a perfect edition to my small living room space. I can see why it is a best seller!!

Do not order if you have kids, pets or dust allergies!

I thought it needed an initial vacuum to stop the shedding and get the top layer off but I was very wrong. Every time I vacuum, even on the absolute lowest suction setting, my entire vacuum container is filled with the rug fibers. Sadly very worried that this rug will not last long as I can already feel the grid and we have only had it for a month. This rug is good for ...

Great Quality
