This looks great on our covered porch. Four starts because there’s a slight odor, typical for these type of rugs, I think. Would not recommend for indoor use.

Damaged fibers
If you want to risk getting a rug that has damaged fibers that stick out and loose uncut strings coming off the cotton border, this checker weave seagrass rug is definitely that.

Looks nice but really rough texture
This is a tough rug that should hold up well under our kitchen table, but if you’re looking for something pleasant under your feet, this isn’t it - it’s really heavily textured and rough.

Perfect for me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my new rug. (9x12) I like that it arrived folded. That made it very easy to get the rug to lie flat. I discovered that using a steamer iron on the creases with a towel between the rug and iron, works great to speed up the flattening process. The only reason for a 4 star rating is that while the rug is square, the binding was slightly crooked against the weave. But it is not a problem because it went under my piano.
