I purchased this rug for the color, thickness, and simplicity of design. The rug is very well made and would compliment most any decor well, without competing. I know some other reviews mentioned shedding, but that can happen with any rug. This rug had a little shedding, but actually quite minimally. A touch of the vacuum and it was gone. SHEDS
Very soft but balls are shedding off and some marks where fibers are missing and bald spots. Also it is not a true rectangle. One side was not cut straight and is obvious.

Beautiful but sheds for weeks
We've had this rug for about 3 weeks now and fill our entire Dyson container with fuzz balls every other day. It's absolutely beautiful and comes very plush but the shedding is so bad.
