This is the Second of the same exact rug i've bought for our living room. The first one lasted 3 years before it started to look worn. I suppose i could have payed to get it cleaned, but that would probably have been half the price and more effort. For the the price, it was worth it to get a new one. Next time i will probably change it up, but it sure makes the room lively.

I have a room sized version of the same rug, and wanted a matching runner for the doorway. I love the colors in it, but the older rug will soon need to be replaced because of the fading. It'll be more expensive to replace the rug, but not much more than cleaning it. I'll donate it to a worthy cause.
