Once I got the idea of white to white connection the install was easy and switch works as advertised

This product was very easy to install and program compared to some of the other ones I looked at. If you want a hardwired timer for your outside lights, I suggest this one

Prime Digital Timer

I would rate this a five except that after two months the "turn on" function ceased to work. I returned and replaced with the same model as I really like the design and function of this device. I am hoping for better reliability this time around. Time will tell but it is easy to install and setup.

Mine caught on fire

So, this installed easily, and I programmed it, which was also easy. And then I thought I was done. So I walked into the other room for a celebratory coca-cola. Then about 10 min later I heard a buzzing sound. I walked in and there was smoke coming from the switch. I promptly turned off the breaker. I removed the switch and found that the wires were all fine, and the smoke came from inside the switch. The switch still smells like smoke, but there is no damage to the outside of the switch....

Perfect Timer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a perfect example of a product that I didn't know I needed. This In-Wall Timer with SunSmart Technology was surprisingly easy to install. My husband had no issues installing and programming. We use this for our porch lights. My husband gets home at midnight and likes for the porch lights to be on when he arrives. I would sometimes forget to turn them on, so this was the perfect solution. Highly recommend.

Great Timer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a high end timer. It is digital and very easy to program. You just select the time you want and it adjusts to the sunlight and sunset times. I set my timer up to my ceiling fan so that it comes on early in the evening to cool down the room before everyone gets home from school and work. It is awesome!

I have installed various timers over the years and this is the first one I couldn't get it work so I returned it.

Easy install and much easier to set than other products

Easy Set

Great switch, Very user friendly. Only problem is the markings on the buttons wear off quickly. Save the instruction paper so you will know what button is which for the future.

Timer for porch light

Not much to say. Installed easily, programming is pretty straightforward, works for my application. Only been in a couple weeks so I can't comment on durability.

Excellent Customer Support

I had difficulty setting up timer for the custom on and off time. I called the number on the instructions which is 1-888-445-9955 and they walked me through set by set on how to set the timer. They were very patient and both extremely helpful and knowledgeable. As it turns out I kept missing a step and it now works perfectly. This is for the Model LTNIWP. The only reason I did not give the product 5 stars was because I only had it installed for 3 weeks.

Still looking for information

I understood from the packaging that I could apply "custom settings" with this timer. But so far I have only been able to use the fixed morning and evening settings buttons effectively. I have searched the internet with the timer's part number looking for any detailed custom set up information but no luck so far.
