Would RecommendIt was and is very simple to use. I have used it on all settings ( 4hrs. 6hrs, 8hrs, and dusk to dawn ) I t just works so well. And not just xmasstime,, all year round. I have a flag with a spotlite on it. On at dusk and off at dawn. For light control I know of nothing better, that is both inexpensive and uncomplicated. This is my 3rd one an all are used...

Would RecommendPerfect solution. Timer has great options and is based on solar input to turn on. So when it gets dark, the lights turn on. Then you decide how long the lights stay on. Great product. Easy to use!
