Not so good

The problem with this timer/socket unit is that it needs to be in the sun, more or less, because it is only a "lites up for a preset time AFTER sundown." Here in Texas, ANYTHING left in the sun is doomed, and of course if you put it where the sun doesn't hit it, it doesn't work so well.. I bought it, thinking it was a 6 outlet timer, but you can only select how long the lites stay on AFTER sunset, you can turn it on manually but that kinda defeats the purpose.. returned.

I purchased this to control the outside lights on my house as it has a timer with 6 outlets, which will be good in the summer. This work GREAT !!! Turns my lights on when it gets dark and back on when it gets light.

Outside timer

It’s very nice to be able to plug it in set it and then never have to worry about turning on the lights automatically come on at dusk then shut off to what ever setting you put it it makes it nice for Christmas decorations

Easy setup

Easy to set up and has a nice sturdy stake that is easily removable (it unscrews). Also love the auto timer option! Worked great for my Buddy the Elf set up.

Excellent product.

We needed a simple automatic timer to keep our Christmas lights on a timer while being out of town for the holidays. This worked extremely well and worked exactly as intended. We're very satisfied with the purchase.

Timer saves time

This timer had plenty of space to plug in Christmas lights and keep them running even when we were out of town. That serves a dual purpose. It also saved us the hassle of running out to the garage to turn everything on and off in the evenings. Love it!

Christmas light timer

I was desperate to get an outdoor timer after my old ones died. This cord and timer saved the day. All my exterior lights of the season now worked perfectly. Best one I ever owned.

Highly recommended

We bought this for our outdoor Christmas lights and it's a game chngee. We highly recommend this! For a few dollars more you get 6 outlets when most come with 3 or 4. It has a dusk to dawn setting or 2, 4, 6 or 8 hrs. Super easy to install and remove.

I love this timer

I am using two of these right now, one for Christmas lights on my nativity outside and one on the back patio where I have those really great patio lights. This item is very easy to use and the covered dial on the top is easy to manipulate even in the dark! The cover keeps everything dry and I stick the spike into a potted plant rather than into the ground. Because of the color it 'blends' better.
