I refinished antique furniture and finished with linseed oil. 35 years ago. I refreshed it with Murphy Oil Soap to a wonderful rich mahogany. 2026.

How to take a proven and time tested product and ruin it. First of all, it's obviously not the original formula it's been reformulated. The current product is much thinner in consistency. The older product was thicker and had a darker color. Why didn't they just leave it alone?
