What Customers Are Saying
The product has received mixed reviews, with some customers finding it helpful for painting ceilings, but the majority reporting significant quality and durability issues. Common complaints include a flimsy extension pole, unstable connection between the roller and pole, and a poorly designed splash guard. While a few customers appreciated the convenience and extended reach, the prevalent concerns about poor construction and unreliable performance outweigh the positive experiences. Overall, the consensus is that the product has significant design flaws that undermine its intended purpose, and customers are advised to consider more durable alternatives.

Plastic handle not as stiff as it could be. Wanted to unscrew from post while painting. But it saved a lot of cleanup time, the drip tray was very nice.

Don't waste your money on this..
Would Not RecommendLooks like a really good idea, unfortunately poorly implemented. the plastic piece used to attach the pole to the roller handle is not well attached to the pole tube and I found it quickly loosening then falling out. I had to go purchase another extension handle.

Good roller frame, one flaw
Would RecommendThe roller frame works. It is a fair price. The only issue I have is that sometimes the actual roller on the roller frame will come slightly off while painting. This can throw off the job that you are doing in some rare circumstances, but it is not a major issue that would prevent me from recommending this product.

Works ok
The product works ok but the pole would always loosen and difficult to keep tight. Difficult to keep plastics shield on when using tray.

Ok for one job
Would Not RecommendI used this to paint my garage. It tends to bend a lot. The guard constantly kept popping off too. If you’re using it for a quick job maybe it would be better, otherwise I would look for a better product.

Don’t waste your money
Would Not RecommendI purchased this roller as an extra in preparation to paint a duplex with 2 kids home on break from college. In less than an hour the pole just separated from the roller handle and required me to drill and screw the threaded part to the metal pole. The splash guard was never used because it was too difficult to use while attached and too difficult to roll period. The pole extender I’ve used for 10 years is still working fine while this “Smart” painter will leave you feeling stupid.

Good as a regular roller
Would Not RecommendGood to use for normal use, the plastic guard fell off and is useless unless great care is taken. I mean it is not durable

Paint Roller
Would RecommendThe roller did a great job preventing paint splatter while completing our ceiling. Very sturdy design.

Made painting SO much easier!
Would RecommendI have high ceiling and am a short person. This roller with the spatter guard and pole made the work go so much faster. Yes I had to hand brush the edges by the wall but after that it was a breeze. The guard was easy rotate when I had to change angles. Big bonus was when I painted the walls. I could use this roller to get the high parts AND the low parts so I painted the entire room never having to get on a ladder or on my knees (except for the taping and brush-edging). I will NEVER paint a room...

Can't do long full swipes with guard
Would Not RecommendThe guard is good for sorry strokes butt once you try doing long strokes the guard and into the wall and scrapes the wall and paint.

Worth the money but one flaw
Would RecommendIt did what it was supposed to. Only flaw is how weak it is on roller handle. Roller kept unscrewing from the handle. But overall was worth it.

Plastic threads were an issue
Would Not RecommendThe connection between the pole and the roller was pretty weak, and it wad very difficult to put enough pressure on it. Also, the splatter guard snapped off a few times and splattered paint everywhere, causing more issues than if I hadn't used it at all. I took it off withing 10 minutes of starting. I painted half the room before I got frustrated by the bending and weak connection and then I returned it and bought a higher quality extendable pole with metal threads.

Bendi pole
Would Not RecommendWhen extending the pole it looses its stifness and makes it harder to control
