very very loud
Would Not Recommendi bought and installed this disposal myself and I have never heard one this loud in my life, the 25-year-old 3/4 Kenmore disposal i replaced was two thirds Quiter than this and made of metal also heavier. this unit is plastic, and you can lift it with one hand. I wish I would have taken more time and shopped around but my wife thinks it might be a bad unit and i was waiting to see if it quieted down because it's only been a week since installed.

I like that it is more compact than others and much quieter. Plus a 1 hp is the same price as other 3/4 hp machines

Terrible Product / Dishonest Warranty
Would Not RecommendInstalled the Moen 3/4HP disposal in November 2021 after over 15 years of service with low-end Insinkerator. Repeatedly freezing of unit (not jamming since there was nothing in it to jam), purchased special wrench to unstick the thing. It finally gave up in August 2025 and refused to unstick. Called Moen and they said they do not warranty "jammed". I'm going back to Insinkerator.

Grinds up everything!
Would RecommendWe are a large family so we decided to go with the largest and strongest disposal out there. This thing is a hog. It just grinds up any small scrap you have. Each to install too!

Would Not RecommendStraight forward installation and like that electrical cord is pre-connected. It is ok noise wise but could be better. It grinds ok but had problems with small pieces of honeydew rind I first put down it. I think I can get a better disposal next time.
