Ratings & Reviews for Moen 54-in to 72-in Brushed nickel Fixed Single curve Adjustable Shower Curtain Rod

Great buy on shower rod

I stayed with chrome throughout my new bathroom. I love the look of the shower rod!

Easy to install

This curved rod has a very good designed way to install it on the tile wall, giving options to where the screw hole can be drilled, so you can choose the grout section often times as opposed to drilling the hard porcelain tile.

Easy installation

I was impressed with the ease of installation and thankful for the tempplets that make it easy for drilling & mounting

Great Shower Rod

This shower rod was so easy to install. Drill and screwdriver was all that was needed.

PLASTIC WALL MOUNT BRACKET IS CHEAP AND THE MOST IMPORTANT PART TO PREVENT FAILURE OF ROD HANGING STRENGTH.

Flawed Installation Design

Curtain rod looked good and installation directions looked simple enough. I'm not a professional contractor but I'm not a rookie either when it comes to projects around the home. This should have been easy enough. Followed all directions carefully and measured correctly. Shower rod went up without any trouble, then came the final step: securing the end caps that hide the screws and plate. They don't fit back on to the plates because of the bend in the rod. There's no way to get them close enough...

Moen Model DN2160 Curved Shower Rod

I have installed several other shower rods and this shower rod installation is the worst I have ever done. The anchor bolts are poor. The plastic posts are not interchangeable if the rod has to be removed when reattaching each post fits only one specific rod. The decorative covers scratch the walls paint when they are installed and are loose after installation. Once installed there is too much give to the rod. I would not recommend this product to anyone. It is a very poor product. This rod is o...

ding ding

ding in the finish right out of the package. Not sure if I want to go to the trouble of taking it down. Hoping the curtain rings will hide it.

Excellent product but there is a reason for 4 star

This product is good. Overall quality and design is absolutely great. I reduced it down to 4 star due to issue I faced during installation. It comes with a kit which is very good and easy for drywall installation. However, if you hit a stud (which you really don't need for this rod) then installation kit won't work. You need get your own screws for studs. Somehow those are not part of the installation kit. Luckily I found couple of those in my tool kit else I would have first gone to the store t...

Good looking but mediocre quality

The rod is a nice looking and functional rod but the brackets on the ends and the thickness of the tubing are mediocre. It is only for a guest bath so it will probably last OK but I don't think it would hold up well to daily usage.

It's okay

Some really cheesy installation screws! The heads stripped out during installation.

Shower curtan holder

I love this curtain rod and it was so easy to install!

curved shower curtain bar

Well made. Husband loves the extra arm room. Would make sure you have it in a stud .
