Looks nice, but....

We bought this two weeks ago. We just installed it tonight; however, the decorative covers were NOT as easy to install as expected. Our nicely new painted wall is now filled with ring marks. How disappointing!

OK rod, end covers not so great.

I installed this in my fiberglass shower/tub using stainless steel screws which was straight forward as a template was included making install a breeze. The covers/bezels that slide up and cover the screws and ends are poorly designed. They are supposed to slide against the wall and rotate to lock onto the bracket but in my case the sides of the shower stall is not perfectly flat making that impossible. Junk

I bought this thinking I would stay away from the tension curved shower rods. The wall anchors are pure crap. The little couplings that slide over the end pieces are junk and don't stay on for nothing. I will be taking back as soon as I find a much better one.

Reasonable overall quality but ...

... the brackets that mount to the wall are plastic ! The rod itself and caps are of good quality but the brackets, not so much.

Excellent finish and easy to install. Great buy for the money. Would recommend and buy another one.

Great product

East installation with the cutout diagram. Almost mounted the bar too low to attach the flange once the screw were in. Bar does have some play in it due to the swivel bracket that connects it to the wall. Wish there was some way to tighten that up. Bar looks good and hooks slide smooth

Cover broke

This rod looks good except that the piece that holds the cover on broke during installation. All I did was lightly push as per the directions. This is made cheap. Pretty dissatisfied, guess I’ll go find some superglue.

Not sure yet - still waiting to use it.

Well, we bought it, but we're waiting for it to be installed as our reno wages on. For what it's worth, the workers spoke highly of it, said it was very good.

Two Pieces Better Than One

This Moen is far better than what I thought was the same model on Amazon! I discovered that a mounting bracket was missing from the one purchased on Amazon in the middle of installation so I purchased this one at Lowe's. This two-piece rod felt more solid and was easier to work with. Highly recommend!

Shower rod

Outstanding shower rod. The installation instructions are a little wonky. I found it easier to attach the brackets before installing the rod. The instructions say to put everything together and then attach it to wall

Curvey

Went up easily - supplied plastic wall inserts. Beware: Since the curtain is curved, it needs to be hung several inches lower than a straight rod. Using the typical placement hole locations of a straight rod will have the curtain too short as it is pulled across the shower.
