Would Recommend5 stars is not for the product, but for Lowe's standing by their "you'll love the color or we'll make it right' policy. I tried 4 shades of tint before I found one we liked. Lowe's never charged me or complained about the 3 that i didn't like. That's standing by their promise.

The little stain that couldn’t.
Would Not RecommendAbsolute joke of a product. Guessing the reason it is thick is due to issues with being able to tint it with paint tints. Did cover well when applied but no matter how long it’s left on, 5 minutes or an hour, all but a very tiny amount wipes off even when used on super soft wood. Could barely tell I had put it on except a little bit in the grain. Definitely not the product you need if trying to use a color unavailable in the regular stains.

Hot Garbage
Would Not RecommendAs a DIYer this product is garbage. Stain does not stain well at all says you can apply additional coats for a darker finish. This is a lie. Don’t waste your money. Also any product that doesn’t provide specific instructions is hiding something let “dry”. What does that mean. “Not wet” right. Still garbage. Vague instructions to remove them from responsibility when their product fails.

Not good for spraying
The color looks more blue than gray and it's really inconsistent if you try spraying it on. I would recommend hand application.
