Do not buy

This is the worst purchase ever! After the limited warranty ran out I started finding mold in the laundry soap and fabric softener area. I reached out to the company and they did nothing to repair the problem. I have ran the cleaning cycle often and still this. Tub is too deep to reach bottom.

No Parts

I have had the washer and dryer almost three years now and so far the washer is very loud when spinning, the dryer board went out, the washer just doesn't seem to fill enough, my door has cracked ( the plastic where the hinge is) and my sheets keep getting tangled under the agitator. The serial plate is washed away . I would not recommend buying this washer machine after 3 years of light use my washer machine began to rust on the inside and made all my clothes smell weird.

Design flaw

The metal tub hits and rubs the outer plastic tub causing gashes in the plastic thus water pours into the floor. Bought the 5 yr warranty but they say it doesn't cover accidental damage even if it's caused by the washer itself. So it will break and then warranty will not cover a $400 plastic tub! Very unhappy

The worst, and The protection Plan

Alright, so I bought this washer in 2021. I additionally bought the protection plan as well. Nov 2023, my entire door came off. I was like oh no, time to use the protection plan.. it has been the WORST experience. I went ahead and called every single month since Nov. They said they couldn't get a tech so I had to find one. Recurring Balancing Issues

We have had our washer for 2 years now but unfortunately had issues the last 6 months - we are getting an E4 error saying the load is not balanced , this happens often even when the load is balanced. We will fix the load manually and try to restart it and minutes later it will give an E4 code again and stop. This will sometimes happen 3-4 times in a row and I have to give up and just wring the clothes out by hand myself! It has become incredibly inconvenient and clearly a problem with the sensor...

Doesn't last!

I bought this machine almost 3 years ago, it worked great at first then randomly stopped working during the rinse and spin cycle. It will restart the wash 5 times before throwing a code, wasting a ton of water! The machine is perfectly level. It doesn't matter the size of the load, it just slams around off balance. I do NOT recommend this brand or this machine at all!!

Horrible Washer That Breaks Down Quickly

I had high hopes for this washer because of the features and the specifications. However, within the first two months of having this washer, it malfunctioned (error with the lid locking mechanism), which could not be repaired. I received a replacement, and here we are two years later, and it is malfunctioning again. BAD HINGES

Don't buy the extended protection plan, it doesn't cover anything. The lid on the washer has cheap plastic on the hinges and breaks, they will not cover it they really don't cover anything, they tried to say the lid broke by force and that just isn't the case.. The call centers have parrots working for them.

complete junk, did not last 1 year

DO NOT buy this washer unless you do not care about your money, time and energy. The plastic agitator has a toothed plug in the center that fits onto the washer motor the this plug will come loose. the agitator will sit and do nothing within a year, if you are lucky.

Hate it!!!

The machine on a lot of settings moves the clothes around into one big clump. Then water starts pouring in. I've had it for 1yr 5 months, the plastic parts that hold the wiring for the locking mechanism, broke, the wires are hanging down, I've been duct taping because no body has the parts !! Not even Midea!!

Thank god I have the Protection Plan

So This washer has been amazing up until the last month. This would put our unit at about 18-months. This unit is now throwing e4 codes and spins so violently that i think its going to fall apart. Service plan is telling me there is no one that can repair and that this will take up to 3-days to find someone.

15 months

I've only had this set for about 1 year and some months and it already has stopped working. It won't drain or spin.

Broke after 1.5 Years

After 1 year and 6 months my washer broke. Just out of warranty. Don't recommend this product.

Junk

a year and a half the washer is done. Drum will not spin even after replacing the belt.

Very Happy with this Washer

I previously had a HE washer and I hated it. This washer leaves the clothes damp enough to be able to dry without so much crinkling of the clothes. I have just been very happy with this washer and would recommend. I will never buy a true HE again.

Spin banging after 2 years

Spin cycle is broken after just 2 years. Wont even spin without clothes in it. Just bounces around.

Midea Top Load Washing Machine

Purchased an MLV45N1BWW Top Load Washing Machine and three months after the one year warranty expired the machine started overfilling and dumping gallons of water onto the floor. No error codes. Broke, and no one can fix it.

I’ve had this product a little over a year, and it’s already broke, and no repair shops are willing to fix it because it’s not a name brand. I really had liked this washer too, it’s very upsetting.
