Works great but needs better Apple Home support

I purchased this because I needed a larger dehumidifier. Yes, it is hefty but isn’t this what you want to dry out your basement?! I have a Honeywell and only 20 pints doesn’t cut it during Spring rain. The fan is amazing! It was only running for a short time and my basement felt warmer and dryer. Effective Humidity Reduction

I have been running this unit for two months and had no problems. It reduces humidity effectively and can set the level you want. I wish that I could control the appliance manually rather than having to use the app, but it is a minor annoyance. Overall, it works fine.

Lack of Durability

Purchased this dehumidifier 12 months ago and it no longer works. The fan runs 24/7 but no water comes out of the drain port despite having 70% humidity in the area where it's located.

No wheels

Both my 35 and 50 cube didn’t come with wheels even though there are slots on the bottom

Great product with all of the features

I bought two of these about 18 months ago and they are great. Everything about the design and layout is well thought out and implemented. I cannot think of anything that I would want to change. These units are 100% reliable, quiet, and energy efficient. I have some critical storage needs in my basement and they hold it at my desired 40% RH. Stopped working after 6 months

After 6 months of use, the unit will no longer put water into the bucket, only will go out the hose

Premature failure, poor materials, awful support

On paper, it looks great: compact (especially in bucket-less mode), draws in air over a large surface, it packs nicely for the off-season. In real life: It has a "back saver" feature: one can choose how much water gets collected in the bucket before the unit stops (24, 30, 36.5 or 40.5 lb). BUT to empty the bucket, one has to first lift and set aside the 37 lb "cube"... If you are comfortable moving around 37 lb, but have trouble lifting 40.5 lb, this may "save you back"; otherwise it's useless....

Easy to move around

High Pitched fan noise

Bought this because Consumer Reports said it was quiet and energy efficient. Its noise may not be much louder than my current Frigidaire, but it's higher pitched, making it much more noticeable. It also is rated to draw 0.1A more than the Frigidaire. One of the fan blades was chipped at the outer edge. The outer box was in very good shape, so it probably left the factory this way. Must have dehumidifier

I definitely would buy this product again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The things I enjoyed about using the dehumidifier was that in my master bathroom I do not have an exhaust fan so with using that I was able to get a lot of the moisture that builds up from us taking showers which grabbed a lot of moisture that builds up on our windows so This product definitely works great.

Great product...but

The Midea dehumidifier works great, except I bought one with the pump feature which never worked. The rest of the machine seemed to work great.

Keeps freezing up

Removes humidity OK, but after running for a few hours, the coils freeze. Ice forms on the outside and it starts making popping noises.

Effective in my humid laundry room

A Must Have for Humid Spaces

My vent in my master bathroom needs a deep cleaning, so not all the moisture is being removed whenever it's turned on! With this dehumidifier I immediately noticed a difference!
