Maytag more like broken tag
Would Not RecommendI have this Maytag washing machine for I believe about five years. I had to place a drain pump once and now it’s not even completing the full cycle. I don’t know what’s wrong with it. I think my tag is a piece of junk. 😡

Whirlpool wrecked Maytag
Would Not RecommendMaytag used to be reliable. Digital control failed after 4 years. Too expensive to replace. Did not clean clothes well. It also danced all over the room washing sheets and towels. I leveled it so many times. The problem is the toploaders are underweight and braced poorly. This machine was the worst. Avoid.

Broken after 18 mo., Maytag is horrible
Would Not RecommendMaytag should be ashamed of themselves for putting lousy products out in the marketplace like this washer. I've owned mine for 18 months, and it has had a full electrical panel failure after normal family use. They want to buy their extended warranty to have it fixed, ($400+) but will not guarantee that it will cover future issues. This is a waste of money and a major inconvenience for customers. My prior Maytag washer lasted 20 years, that's why I repurchased one... but NEVER AGAIN. WHAT a SHAM...

Would Not RecommendOnly lasted 8 months before the circuit board caused errors like many other have stated and left us without a washer for a week before a service person can come out. Very frustrating in a busy home with children that need items washed daily. Would not recommend this washer at all and I guess Maytag lost it’s reliability reputation when you look at reviews. I am sure this will happen again and again. Hopefully will be under warranty still when it does. No more Maytag appliances.
