Ratings & Reviews for Maytag 18.2-cu ft Standard-Depth 30-in Wide Top-Freezer Refrigerator ( Black )

Just right

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to replace our refrigerator and found this one that was the right size and in our budget. I like that the refrigerator is deeper and love the full width meat and cheese drawer. So far it's a great purchase.

Good basic unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this for our cottage at the lake. Very good basic fridge, operates smoothly and is quiet. The shelf spacing is a little odd and is difficult to store 20 oz soda bottles other than on the door. Freezer is excellent and we love the light inside the freezer. Overall a good basic unit for the money.

Great Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new refrigerator it’s small but fits perfectly in the space underneath my cabinets . Always had Magtag products my last refrigerator lasted almost 30 years.

Enjoying new refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I took delivery of my new refrigerator on 9/18 so I've had it just over a week. I am curious to see in a few power billing cycles if this refrigerator's efficiency will lower my electric bill. My last refrigerator was from the early '80's and the gaskets didn't press tightly to the body of the unit and I am sure the motor ran more than it should have. Things I like; the freezer has a light in it, the fridge was able to easily hold everythin...

Nice and NEW

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was limited in choices due to the space it would go in. It is similar to my old frig but much brighter inside and the stainless outside is nice.

Totally Cool!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I was a kid, my parents took me to the Ice-Capades. When they asked if I liked the show, I told them it was the coolest entertainment I could ever imagine. But that wasn't what I was thinking. I was just thinking how much I'd like one day to own a Maytag refrigerator of my own. And now, so much later in life, I have realized my dream. This Maytag appliance is, for me, the ideal. Its clean, sleek design appeals to me-- those recessed ha...

Very Nice Unit But a Bit Noisy

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this new refrigerator, particularly the design - it's nicely organized, with good shelves and lighting. I particularly like the meat tray that is the full width of the unit - I use it for yogurt and other dairy products, and it holds a lot and is really easy to see into. I'm giving this only 4 stars because it is noisy - I think it is the compressor -- it makes a "crackling" sound that I find VERY annoying.

Good staple

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Generally a nice refrigerator to replace my old Maytag of 20 years. I wish they made the draws more robust and the glide mechanism more smooth for the cheese and cold cut tray. I love they kept the freezer light so I can see what’s inside. Very rare for basic frig.

Great Product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our house is older and small. It was great to find a fridge that would fit into the cubby size without remodeling the whole kitchen! Works great, has a lot of room for a fridge this size. Runs quiet.

Maytag appliances are always exceptional

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Great size for our condo unit & it stores a lot of food & beverages. I always highly recommend Maytag it’s the only brand we buy!
