Terrible refrigerator!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Terrible refrigerator. Very noisy. Open the door to get something very quickly and the refrigerator compressor kicks on and runs loudly for about an hour. Seems to be running 23hrs a day. Aside from using a lot of electricity, I could probably accept the almost continuous compressor running if it wasn't so very noisy. After it runs for a while noise level increases and starts to make a rattling noise that is very annoying. The unit also cam...

Good outweighs frustration!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the inside layout of the refrigerator which allows for more organized storage and better view at a glance of what’s inside. The temp in the freezer isn’t consistent so sometimes the ice cream is soft. When the unit runs, it runs for a long period of time, hours, and has a rattle, which in the evening, is aggravating.

Nice standard refrigerator

Light in freezer, MAYTAG logo, and 10 year badge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very nice, I did down size a little with this model. My last refrigerator was a whirlpool, a little bit bigger than my new one. It lasted 20 years, and served my family well. The new MAYTAG is grate! Love the light inside the freezer, nice touch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A nice refrigerator, like the clear shelves and is quiet.only draw back is a gallon of milk doesn't fit on door glad I save longer brackets from old refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Frost in freezer cont. to form. I have used all of the trouble shooting hacks, and it has improved but cont to form. I very much like the layout of the interior & extra freezer size

Disappointed but devoted Matag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator is a replacement for one that decided to take leave of its mind and quit working. I have always had good luck with the Maytag/whirlpool brand appliances. However, I was disappointed that whirlpool did not honor the extended warranty I had on the fridge that quit working. I hope to have better luck with this one and hope for many years of use from this appliance.
