Great product. Allows for less hassles with cleaning out the chip tray during smokes. You can do lower temp and cold smokes. A must have!!!

It opens me up to smoking a different variety on meats and saves time

nice small unit

works good. u have to jiggle it a little every so often to get the wood chips to drop. the paint does peel off the cover. all minor things. it does stay lit for 4 hrs.

Great Cold Smoker

I bought this over a year ago, and I'm so glad I did. It keeps a steady smoke going in the smoker. Instead of reloading the smoker tube every 30 minutes.

cold smoker with wood chip housing kit

i have a 30 in. analog electric and a 40 in. digital electric - the 40 in. has a cold smoker box set up with it - I LOVE THE SETUP - I will be making the 30 in. into a cold smoker also which will allow me to do hot and cold smoking at the same time - the box ensures that heat/smoke is not lost because the door has to be opened to add wood chips - I love both setups - Nope, i am not afraid to experiment

slow smoker

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the slow smoker 2 yrs ago. its still working great. u might have to jiggle the unit once in a bit to get the wood chips to fall but other then that it works great.

Lots of SMOKE!

Best accesory

Best smoker accessory

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife gave me the slow smoker for my upright smoker and it is the best accessory you can use. With it I can cold smoke cheese, salmon, and dry my Jerry. If you own a Masterbuilt upright smoker without this accessory you will waste time and effort unnecessarily. If I had any idea how much time and effort this would have saved me, I would have bought one with my smoker.

Great products, does exactly what it should. Produces smoke quickly and is very easy to load with chips.

Need to Get

It works great. It puts out a lot of good smoke. And, when attached to the smoker, it adds additional heat and flavor.

Expected longer smoke times

I got this after reading you can smoke for up to 6 hours. While trying to do a Brisket overnight, I found the wood chips only last about an hour. This was incredibly disappointing, as this required me to reload the smoker several times throughout the evening. Also, the internal paint starter to bubble which caused the lid and smoke tube cap to stick. The smoke produced was great, but was very disappointed in how short the smoke lasted.

Great cold smoker but needs elevated.

I love the cold smoker (2nd one I’ve owned) but it does not fit my 40 inch smoker. Do they make legs it is just to low.

Product has turned to crap/poor coaing ...garbage

I have had one of these for 10 years worked great! Heating element finally failed. I purchased a new one this past week. Ran it thru a smoke cycle just to burn off manufacturing residuals. Well the paint on the inside has completly wrinkle up and become separated from the metal on the lid and inside chip holder and the inside of the upper portion of slow smoker. This is a complete failure of the so called powder coat process and or incorrect temperature rating or extremely poor metal prep. Maste...
