Works great, with minor flaws.

This badboy works exactly as its supposed to, and produces great smoke without adding additional heat to the main chamber of the smoker. Even if you're doing a normal, high-temp smoke, this will put out more smoke and for longer than the built in one (assuming you have a standard Masterbuilt electric smoker like I do.) I really only have a couple of complaints. My first complaint is that the ash system isn't that great. The ashes fall naturally through the bottom of the grate int he chimney, ...

Awesome Cold Smoke!

Good accessory

Finally tried to make bacon at home

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this slow smoker to go with my Masterbuilt Digital vertical smoker. I have made two types of smoked fish and two different types of bacon. The fish and the bacon both came out great!! My wife and daughter both praised my efforts. They never hold back there options about my new endeavors they let me know if it was not a success. Fish and bacon were given high praise by those two.

Lots of flavor and smoke

Functions GREAT!!

I bought this about a month ago.  It functions pretty well.  Because some of the reviews pointed to problems I started slow and carefully. I found the paint to bubble and peel where smoke and condensation made contact.  Is there a way to avoid this or should I just remove the paint? I recommend fabrication using stainless steel. I find pellets often stick to the hopper insides.Is there a way to avoid this? To avoid flareups, I don’t fill the hopper more than half full. I love being able to co...

Cold smoke

It does a very nice job at putting cold smoke out. Just need help with the height matching to other smokers in their lineup. Pipe fits great.

Extends my smoking tome

Great addition to my smoker!

This is easy to install, attaches securely to my MBS40. Works great. The paint does bubble and peel off when you first use it on the inside of the chimney. Does not affect the use of it. Wood chips will also get stuck on long cooks so you need to knock them down from the top occasionally. I use a bent up wire hanger to push them down. Other than that it works great! I love that I only have to put chips in every few hours.
