Gravity XT Jones review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had the gravity xt for a few months now. It is the best smoker I have purchased. I like the ease of use. It lights easily. Once it reaches temperature, it cooks consistently. I have smoked pork ribs, beef ribs, whole chickens, chicken quarters, whole hams, brisket, stuffed jalopeno peppers, and cabbage. Everything turned out perfect.

Works well and has lasted a year now

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been about a year since I bought the smoker. It does pretty well. The temperature controller could be a little better (the offset is pretty bad and it occasionally loses its mind) but overall its a great smoker and an adequate grill for higher temperatures for steaks and such. Just makes sure you clean the bottom well before going into searing temps as you will get a grease fire if you dont.

The best of both worlds!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The “set it and forget it” of a pellet smoker with the flavor of an offset. The thicker steel and the new design of the door help hold the heat in so it’s more efficient. The grate that the charcoal rests on is a major improvement over the previous versions. I do miss the grill grates from the previous gravity fed smokers.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The WiFi enabled smoker lets me watch the game while I expertly smoke a brisket or chicken or pork belly. No one needs to know how easy I really have it. My finance bought me the gravity smoker two years ago and now she is my wife.

Great Upgrade from 1050

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Been a big fan of the master built gravity series since I got my 1050 when it first came out, I put that one through the ringer got a lot of great cooks out of it, and it still lasted enough for me to actually sell it and make room for the XT. I love the size of the XT and the new technology with the display is definitely an upgrade. I recommend this for someone that’s looking to still add a touch of barbecue technique without fully sacrificing...

Won a bet with my boss at work and got an XT

All I can say is so worth the money

I have 4 smokers already a propane powered one, a stock burner, a pellet smoker, and a bullet style charcoal smoker. The gravity CT has the easy usage of the pellet smoker with the versatility of a stick burner or charcoal smoker. I can use split pieces of wood. I can use pellets or chunks of wood mixed with charcoal. Love it

Garbage died before 2 months. Don’t buy!!!

Do not buy this grill!! The grill died on me. Flat out stopped working. I have only had it for two months and only used it four times. I keep it in my shed when not using, so it wasn’t exposed to the elements. They sent me a flow chart to follow and it wound up that the “controller” is dead. They can’t send me a new one because so many are dying that they are on “back order”. I asked for a refund because I didn’t want to get another piece of garbage controller and have it die when I am not in w...

After 1 year, I love my XT

I had Masterbuilt propane smokers prior to this one and I think this may be my best. I can grill ro smoke and the flavor is awesome. It took a while to get used to the temp control and what worked best, but I love testing and trying new things. My favorite grill smoker ever!!

XT is a beast!

This is so well constructed that you don't feel any heat until you open the hood. I found that with use the fan lever opens and closes fully with use. The thermostat is a whole lot more consistent as well as the wi-fi to your phone. I have used another temp system alongside the MB and the difference is consistent, so it gets me close the temp I want and just check ...

The Cadillac of Smokers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a game changer. It takes the frustration and anxiety of smoking with previous smokers. I can sleep comfortably knowing that my fire is not going to go out. If I need to leave home for any reason, I can do it comfortably knowing I can monitor from my app. I can turn it off remotely if my desired temp has been reached. It makes smoking a breeze, almost effortless. It was worth every dime, no buyer's remorse.

Easy to use, great smoke, & built strong

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the XT about a year ago. I smoke & grill on it about twice a week & 2-3 times a month with large long cooks like brisket. I own 3 pellet smokers but they lack the flavor that only charcoal & wood can provide. My briskets, tomahawks, short ribs, etc...don't touch anything besides my XT!!! If you pay extra to splurge on some higher end meats don't cheat your meal by using pellets to cook it. I originally purchased the 1050 a few month...

Smoking ribs and honey do’s Saturday

The master built charcoal is excellent for ribs, chicken and brisket. I can smoke anything and take care of my chores at the same time.
