I am in a toxic relationship with my smoker. Every single time I go to use it I need to remove the app from my phone, download the app, and try multiple times to connect to my wifi. It’s not my wifi, I have many devices connected, no issues, it’s not the distance, when connected it shows full bars. It’s not my phone, I have last years model. Best grill ever

Ive had my grill for 6yrs and it's by far the best grill I ever had. I used to be hit or miss with my bbq because of the fire either going out or burning up my food. This grill fas turned me into a pitmaster lol. If you set grill at 350 it's going to be 350 until grill is out of charcoal. This grill is pretty much set it and forget it

DO NOT BUY!!!!!

I’ve heard bad things about this product, I never thought it was not going to work fresh out the box. I ordered this for memorial weekend to spend time with family and spent time prepping meat and about 4 hours assembling just to get an error 1 code for temp probe. Everything seems in perfect condition including cabling, I removed the probe cable and removed power cord. Turned on the grill and with the same timing received the same error, suggesting it could be the controller. This thing KILLED ...

Gravity series 1050 smoker

I’ve had the 1050 smoker for 3 years now. I’ve used it to smoke ribs and pork butts. Does a great job. Maintains the set temperature, and probes provide an accurate meet temperature. I’ve had a few problems, but the more I use it the better I get at it. I recommend you use the app when smoking, get a few spare parts, and extra probes.

Awesome Grill, Griddle & Smoker

I've had my Gravity Series 800 since March and have grilled on it pretty much every weekend since owning it. I owned a lesser brand name charcoal grill before and had to constantly fight with keeping the temperature up. Since owning my 800 I've cut my cooking time significantly down. Biggest thing for me to get used to right now is how much faster I can get done grilling as compared to before. I haven't used the griddle yet but that will be coming soon. Grill works great while it lasts. Many issues!

When the grill is new it works well. Within 8 months the walls of the fire box near the cook opening flaked away exposing insulation. the grating to the enterance of the cook chamber letting ash into the manifold. This warped and distorted the cut off blade open making it impossible to install the upper plate without pounding on it. Had to replace 2 door sensors with 3 months. Drip tray all but fell off do to the rivets on the contol side of the rusting away. Controller made it about 12 months b...

Temperamental…not in a good way

I waited three years to review this product. Now it’s time. Even after changing internet services, the WiFi capability resembles a late 1980 AOL connection. Having given up on WiFi (since I had to delete and create a new grill connection with every use) even the dials to increase/decrease temp are failing. That was my final workaround. Positives and negatives

ive had mine for 4 years love it for the ease of it. and the control of heat even when -0 temps. I've ran numerous smokers but absolutely love the ease, we have 6 children and feel comfortable leaving it without issues. Negative- very cheap material, fire box has burnt out twice -had insert made. Easy to have flare up fires- I made a better pan catch.

Great service

Unfortunately, they had messed the temperature probe up and I called Masterbuilt to see if I could get it warranted. They said yes and sent me out the new probe. I installed it and have been fully enjoying the food I get out of this unit. So easy to use-

Great Design, Great Performance

Some quality issues

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had my grill for a little over two years, and I've had to replace the controller twice and the cover once because the elastic cord at the bottom broke. I'm also noticing that the sleeve in the coal shoot isn't standing up to temperatures when you sear steaks or just grill at a higher temperature. The sleeve will have to be replaces in the near future.
