Ratings & Reviews for Masterbuilt 200-Sq. in Black Portable Charcoal Grill

Excellent product

The grill is amazing and even better it was on clearance at an unbelievable price!

These grills pump out some incredible food.

The masterbuilt gravity series is awesome. Some experience is required. Once you figure them out, it almost becomes a set it and forget style smoking machine. Love the flavors these little grills put into your meats.

Easy to put together . Well belt. Holds heat tempe

Portable. Ready to use right out the box. Keeps temperature

Well-built portable charcoal grill

Nice portable grill. Lid locks for travel and I have no issues getting it to maintain a constant temp. Not huge amount of grill space but I would say could cook for 2-4 easily, maybe 6 people.

Best bang for your buck when it comes to portable.

What is not to love about this portable gravity feed grill/smoker?

Awesome grill for the price!

Love my Masterbuilt Portable. It is like a mini version of my Gravity 800 series.

Pack n go

Nicely built. Will last a long time.

Great BBQ when it works

I bought this in August 2023, now it's November 2023 and the fan doesn't work. It cut out in the middle of a cook. Seems weird that computer fans can run for ten years+ but this one doesn't last 3 months. I am very disappointed with the product, it produced great BBQ, Lamb, ribs, chicken, pork and steak, but now I can't BBQ anything.

Not a review as per say , but wished that I could buy directly from this site

Excellent replacement for my big grill

Works exactly as advertised, easy cleanup, we can easily take camping

Best little portable charcoal grill

I bought this to replace the propane one on the trailer. Love it. Once we learned how to use it correctly, getting the right heat from it is easy. Now food boondocking is so much tastier! Only complaint (silly as it is) it's just a liittle big to go in the storage bin. Not a big deal. I recommend getting one to everyone who sees (smells more like it!) me cooking on it.

Masterbuilt service

I ordered and paid for wheel (cart set) and cover on 5/5/2023 as of 5/31 no word on order. Nice grill with zero service from manufacturer. Had to pay to order. Note photos show folding cart it is not included!

Disappointed

The cooking, so far, is 5*. And typical Masterbuild 5* heavy build. Temperature snd smoke control are learning curves but still 4*. The most serious down side is re-lighting the charcoal if needed during a cook. There is no access to the fire starter chamber without removing the charcoal hopper which will be too hot to touch. The second issue is cleaning the body liner which is loose enough to lift out - if it wasn't hard wired to the temperature probe. I expected better engineering from Master...
