Damaged Item

Door had a large hold in the back side. Painted the front prior to flipping and seeing the hole. This was an order pickup and I assumed it would be checked prior to loading.

Nice Looking Door

Nice looking door and hangs well. I haven’t painted it yet but I plan to spray it with navy blue Behr interior paint in a satin.

Be prepared for the extra effort

Had several doors delivered to the house. They all came with some knicks and scratches, but were mostly undamaged. The real issue I had is that the hinges on the first two doors I installed were not properly recessed and had to be chiseled out. Additionally, most of the self-tapping screw were loose and had to be replaced with longer ones. While these were the most cost-effective doors I found, that means very little when they cannot be installed as is.

Lowe's quality continues to lower

The quality was less than expected for Masonite. After two stores and 5 different doors, one store couldn't find them for 20 minutes and none were damage-free. Cashier didn't care about the damage.

Add a touch of craftsman style to your house.

The doors provided the perfect modern look. The hardest part was finding one that was not chipped up or banged up at the store due to how they are shipped.

Poorly conducted

Purchased 15 of these style Masonite doors. The construction and assembly of the trim was horrible. Unfortunately they were delievered while I was away otherwise I would have sent them back. 5 were delivered with casing destroyed. The primer on the doors was also damaged during painting. Do not buy.

Poor build quality

Like many other similar reviews the overall build quality is poor. I purchased 6 doors to finish my basement - Almost every door had hinge mortise that were either to shallow,or too deep in addition to misaligned hinge screw holes. I don't often leave reviews, but this was warranted.

Poor Craftsmanship

Purchased this door and a slab of the same style. If I can save mortising the parts and drilling the holes I thought that would be a time & energy saver. The hinge mounts were poorly morticed and hinges do not lay flat in the mortice. The strike mortice is also uneven. Not impressed. I hope the rest of the door is good. The solid core looks like loose compressed straw

Craftsman doors

These doors were just ok. The hinges mortices were inconsistent, the bored hole for the striker was crooked and outside of the plate requiring repair, and the strike plate didn't have enough wood left after the striker vote was made requiring more repairs to have something to screw into the jamb

Easy to install, good quality

Poor construction

The door left enough room before the jamb to see daylight (yes, it was square). The hinges were installed in the wrong place. Unbelievably bad quality.
