Would Not RecommendIf you don’t mind mortising your own hinges, or shimming the hinges that are already there because they’re too deep, or repairing the door jamb, or dealing with uneven door jamb lengths, then you’ll probably be happy with this door. One of the doors we bought the hinge had no mortise whatsoever. Two other others, we had to shim the hinges out so they were flushed with the jamb. On another, the right side jam was 3/4 of an inch longer than the left side jamb. Complete garbage.
I bought six Masonite 3-panel solid core doors, and every single one of them has had quality-control issues. Multiple doors had stripped screws right out of the box. The hinge mortises are inconsistent on every door — some are cut too deep, others too shallow. Several doors are warped, and on one door the face panel is actually separating from the door.
