Exactly what I needed

Install was simple. Just measure, cut, a bead of silicone for water tight seal, and a few screws. No more draft!

Excellent Product

Once the original threshold was removed only a slight trimming was required and this threshold slipped into place. The new threshold looks great.

Throw in some masonry anchors

Not a bad threshold. Well I don’t think there are any great thresholds. It’s probably the best you could buy in a store but it’s not great. The adjustable portion. Is difficult to get level and because it’s a rigid piece it doesn’t seal easily. You will need a good sweep on the bottom of the door.

Excellent replacement

This threshold was exactly what I needed to replace an aging one in my garage. Easy to install... hardest part was getting out the old one. Before installing the new one, I noticed the concrete beneath the threshold had some chips, so I sealed this with a quick set concrete mix. The finished project was actually better than new.

All you need!

So glad you carry this in stock! This was exactly what I needed to cure my threshold gap. This provided the extra height I needed at the entry door to completely seal the space without having to do other major modifications like cutting the door and using a larger bottom seal. This was great! A simple trim down and done! Be sure you have construction adhesive for the installation as it does not bolt down.

Well made and easy to use!

I used this threshold to replace an almost identical version that was used in the original home construction. I trimmed about six inches off the end using a chop saw which easily cut through both aluminum and wood. The only difficulty that I encountered wasn't from the replacement threshold but from the original door casing. Once the original threshold was off, I found that the replacement threshold was about one-half inch too high when placed upon the bottom casing of the doorway. I pulled all...

Good product

The size was perfect for my door. The only thing I found difficult was how to safely secure it since I couldn’t take the back side of it to screw it from there. Other than that, it’s a good product.

A lot of extra trouble

No instructions in package. No instructions on web site for this model which is different from the one they show. Saw the staples in the plastic strip, and although they didn't make sense, figured they were there for a reason. Thanks to "Billygoat's" review for clarifying the need for their removal. The product appears to be just what I need. However, there is much information lacking. There are no install instructions accept; Install threshold with vinyl sill directly below door (duh). Threshold should be secured with fasteners (not included, and when installing this threshold on a concrete floor use lead or plastic anchors. That's it, and the instructions are on the back side of the product description. You cannot see them. In addition, there are no instructions available at the MD websit...

Looks great in place but needs modifications

What the product does not tell you is that there are no pre-drilled holes in the threshold for drilling it to the floor. This would make installation so much easier! Otherwise a great product and worked great to replace a rotted threshold, but without the predrilled holes it made the installation process a bit time consuming and I had to be creative.
