What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this backer rod for effectively preparing gaps before caulking, with most reporting it works exactly as intended. Reviewers consistently highlight that it fills gaps efficiently, reduces sealant usage, prevents mess, and creates durable seals around windows and doors. Many appreciate its ease of installation, flexibility, and ability to compress into tight spaces. Customers note it stops cold drafts and improves insulation. The material is described as high-quality and versatile across diverse applications. A few mention the diameter runs slightly smaller than expected, but this rarely impacts satisfaction. Overall, reviewers strongly recommend it as a reliable, cost-effective solution.

Great product and easy application
Would RecommendThis is a great product. Watched a video on how to fill in cracks in cement and they used this product and the Sika cement crack repair, so decided to try it out. Very easy to put in the cracks. I used a screwdriver if I couldn't get the rod in the crack with my fingers.

Perfect product to fill small gaps
Would RecommendProduct meshed well into the gaps of my staircase trim to prepare for caulking. Foldable and I was able to cut them in half if you needed a smaller size

Excelent customer service

Should help with your flooring project.
Would RecommendIt was what it said it was. It's getting covered by trim, so only time will tell if lasts. It feels fairly sturdy and it required a good tug to break it. I'm just a person not a professional installer, so I don't have experience with other types. I was given compensation for this review, but it is still an honest review.
