Overpriced red flowering milkweed
Would Not RecommendI bought this red flowering milkweed plant for the monarch butterflies that have been coming to my yard since covid. I grew. Yellow variety from seed but wanted something different. It was just two leggy plants in all the containers that look nothing like the beautiful bushy picture. There’s also snails in the pot. The butterflies seem to like the red flowers but for $18.99 I feel like i got robbed. I think i might return this and see if they have a red flowering seed packet instead.

Killed my Caterpillars
Would Not RecommendI had 9 monarch caterpillars that were growing strong but they had eaten the milkweed plants I had. So I picked this one up so they could finish growing and go to cocoon. Not long after I introduced the plant and they started eating it I noticed they got really sluggish, and were barely moving. Two days later now and they are all dead. One turned completely black. Never had this happen with any of the nursery milkweeds I've purchased. I"m guessing there was a pesticide on this plant. Neve...
