Found this tape to be much more flexible going around sharp edges which in my case was very important. It is, however much more expensive than the 6 in plastic-backed tape available locally for the same purpose. I found that the seam tape material "popped up" after the Liquid Rubber had dried, leaving a some what ugly appearance,but, it is out of sight mostly.

Much better that 3 course geo-textile on a metal roof. Don’t waste your time. Put down seam tape and 3 or more coats of liquid rubber. Leaks solved!

Awesome Product!
This was the perfect solution for bridging all the gaps, seams and vents on my metal roof. It was easy to use, just stick it down and coat over. Highly recommend to make it a bulletproof system.

Seam tape and Liquid Rubber
Excellent products, seam tape sticks really well and the Liquid Rubber for ponds and such seams to be an excellent product as well. Four coats of the liquid rubber is what we felt we needed for this project and we shall see in a week after it cures just how it will hold up. We will update our review in a weeks time.
