Would RecommendLiquid nails worked well. The tubes go pretty fast. I only purchased three and I cut it close when putting glue on joists that sccounted for about 500 sq ft. So you definitely want figure what you need.

Significantly less bonding strength vs heavy duty
Would Not RecommendI used it for the subfloor in reinforcing and sister joining joists and was not impressed with the bonding strength compared to the heavy duty liquid nails. This glue easily comes off and peals off your fingers unlike the heavy duty glue that I needed to remove with mineral spirits.
Not a squeak to be heard

Would RecommendFor new or remodel work if you are installing subfloor using a quality subfloor adhesive is absolutely necessary. It helps improve adhesion, removes the possibility of fastener squeaks over time and ensures the strongest bond possibly to structural members. The Liquid Nails line of construction adhesives has its positive and negative points- but their subfloor adhesive is definitely an excellent go-to product for this type of application.
