Ratings & Reviews for LG High Efficiency Impeller Extra Large ( 5.5-cu ft ) Top-Load Washer ( Matte Black )

Expensive doesn't equal good.

This washer stopped working after about three loads of washing. Lowe's didn't seem interested in helping and referred us back to LG. LG sent a new part that didn't fix it, and now they have to send a tech out. For reference, it will be about three weeks without a working washer. I would recommend looking at different brands and places to purchase an appliance.

Three bad ones in a row!

There must be a bad batch of these out there but there are 3 less in circulation now. We had one installed and it went through the initail cycle ok. Put towels in it and it made a horrendous grinding noise during the wash cycle (but oddly not when spinning). Called Lowes, they came out and replaced it - same problem but even louder, Again called Lowes and repeat issue!! At this point we gave up and selected a different make/model. Very disappointed in LG. On the other hand Lowes were very good ...

Nice Washer

I love the remote start on this washer. Lots of room in the tub and quiet.

Great washer

no issues so far working very good at the moment i love it

Works great!

The washer has been much needed in my household. The size has made it nice that I can do big loads of laundry and still reach the bottom to grab things out.

Great quality, easy to use

Great quality, easy to use washing machine. Like that detergent doesn’t have to be added for each load and can be pre-filled.

Awesome Product!

Love the product color, So quiet can hardly hear it running. It was easy to set up! Nothing negative to say about the product.

It gets clothes clean with minimal effort and wea.

This washer gets the job done . Everything is automatic . Just press a couple of buttons and that’s it . Hardly any water left when done . We have always had good luck with LG products.

The app is a must to download for updates

Love the ease of use. This machine has literally cut my laundry time in half per load.

When it's time for a new washer, get this one

Very modern, with touchscreen controls and many automated actions, including auto-sensing of the amount of water to use, and spin speed adjustment to minimize shaking during spin cycle.. Surprisingly large capacity--and I thought my old washer was capacious. It plays a cute little tune at the end of the cycle that is much nicer than a loud buzzer. The top door can't slam shut even if you tried; its damper prevents it. So: many improvements, and nothing, really, on the negative side.
