Ratings & Reviews for LG Agitator Large ( 5.3-cu ft ) Top-Load Washer ( Matte Black )

New Appliances are not made the same!

As a mom of 4 boys who go to school, play multiple sports, spill food, get sick, potty training etc I hate this washer!! We bought a new washer and dryer set after using old school white top loader set for years. My husband wanted to purchase Speed Queen but I did not want to spend the money. These were expensive enough, and since they were new and included tech I assumed they would be a great investment. Boy was I wrong. Clothes don’t ever seem to come clean, stains are never washed out, there ...

Disappointed

Its function is to wash clothes, but it leaves them filthy, and the worst part is the customer service is terrible. I don't recommend it; I will never buy LG again.

We just bought it after our pet pro whirlpool washing machine broke. We only had it 2.5 years and nobody could fix it. Vwey happy so far with the new lg

I bought this washing machine 3 weeks ago and I absolutely love it. I wish they had a delicate cycle on it and I use the deep fill for every load.

Avoid Tullahoma TN Lowe's

Review addresses Tullahoma TN Lowe's customer service problem - not the washer... The appliance department salesperson who sold us the washer failed to click "Haul Away" on our order as we requested (twice). When the washer was delivered (by a third party), they refused to haul the old washer away given that the salesperson failed to check the box. Delivery person told us to drive back to Lowe's and pay for the $50 haul away and they'd return to pick up. Drove back to Lowe's, but was informe...

Great product

Delivered on time and is working great so far

Great delivery employees.

O.ur washer was moved in without a ny. scratches to machine or walls. We were given excellent instructions they both were polite and knowledgeable. We are extremely grateful for their work ethics.

The delivery man were courteous, professional, well dressed, installed my equipment no hang ups. Everything was perfect. I would love to have them do it again. I’ll recommend them to Everybody.

Good to Great Machine

Coming from a front loading machine I was skeptical, however, I have not had any issues with the 5 loads of laundry done in the first 24 hours of owning. We have the matching dryer as well. The 2-way dryer door is great. Both machines are pretty quiet and have less vibration compared to our old front loaders. Happy we went with the agitator vs impeller wash plate per other reviews. My only complaint is really more suggestion for LG. Delicate should be a desingated preset cycle instead of waterpr...

Matte black new style

Energy efficiency like the dryer it’s not as quiet as the dryer but certainly not as nosey as older traditional washers. Large tub

Best washer and dryer set I have had

I was on the fence when we purchased this set. Some people said it barely got clothes wet enough to wash. I did not have this problem and honestly do not know how that would happen unless you didn't set the settings properly. My clothes are clean and do not have a musty smell. Items that had rust stains from my previous washer are now stain free. I love the app that lets me know when the washer is done and how it reminds you when to run a clean cycle.
