Ratings & Reviews for LG Agitator Large ( 5.3-cu ft ) Top-Load Washer ( Matte Black )

Love it!

Great product

I just love my new washer. Not only is it reliable but it brings such elegance to my laundry room. It cleans effortlessly and is quiet.

Appreciate the agitator and deep well washer. Easy to use and gets close clean.

This is so quiet and does an awesome job of getting large loads done

Delivery

Loved free delivery and haul away of old units!

Disappointed

Upon waiting all day for my new washer and dryer it was finally delivered at 3:00 in the afternoon. Then was told the hoses for the washing machine had not been brought. I bought them, by the way, but they were not on the truck. So, now I have to wait another day for the hoses to be delivered to my house and my new washer and dryer installed. This is completely unacceptable!! This will be the last appliances that I purchase from Lowe’s. And the delivery men could not even speak English...

Great features

I got this a moth ago. Still working great. Staff who install were friendly, polite and very professional.

Looks nice!

So far this washer does a great job. I do like the agitator in it. The last washer I had was a whirpool matte black washer with a removable agitator and it didnt last a year. It is easy to operate and looks nice too. I am only giving 4 stars due to not having the washer very long at all.

No hot water

I noticed my white clothes were coming out dingy …. I always wash whites in hot water… well I paused the washer as it was washing my white clothes… checked the temp of the water … it was slightly warm. I checked the water temp setting to be sure.. it was on hot. I had 3 repair guys to my home…. They changed parts…. Did no good ….”It’s the way this washer was designed…. To save water!” No fix to this…. I’m stuck with a lemon! I’d not recommend this washer to anyone! Junk

Giant tub

It's quiet, it seems to get everything clean every load, has a strong spin, and a huge tub. That's actually why I took off a star. It's a massive tub, and I didn't understand just how much I'd need to be putting in to have a 'normal' load.

Grease stains on everything

I don’t understand what could be happening but every piece of clothing comes out covered in oil stains since the very first use. I’ve tried using less soap, there’s no forgotten chapstick, I’ve tried different cycles. This is ruining my clothes and I wish I kept my old crappy washer at this point because at least it didn’t make my clothes look dirtier than they started.

Loving my washer again!!!

Huge tub that fits my King-size quilt!!! Deep tub. Deep wash cycle. Bedding cycle!!! Watch your large blanket actually move through the whole motion in a Bedding cycle. That is my Favorite!!! Throw your whole load in!!! Being just 5'1 ~ I can reach the socks at the bottom because of the sloped front. And more, A SPIN ONLY button!!! Being on the farm, a power loss can really mess a wash load up. If you have ever had to squeeze a laundry load just to get back to washing. Here it is!!! I now have t...

DOA

The washer failed the day after it was delivered. It took almost a month to get it operational so we have not have enough experience with it to rate it's performance

Keep Scrolling

Save your hard earned money. Do not buy this washer dryer set. Worst lg product ever. Poor quality plastic like exterior, hardly visible digital display (not for people with less than 20/20 vision) multiple cycles needed to wash and dry. no delicate cycle. the list goes on. AI feature not necessary. Purchased last generation of this model for family and unbelievably superior than this new set. Save yourself time, energy, and headache purchase something else.
