Quality and Experience

The door is well put together, and the dog door is great. My concerns are that the handle is as cheap as possible, and they don't give you strips to hide screws. You must also have drill bits to bore the holes for the handles. Not sure if the handle is where they needed to save cost, but considering the cost for this door there are just experience pieces that could have been included to make it worth the cost.

I think this is a very stylish storm door with a pet door included. The full view glass enhances the look and allows the pets to see outside as well!

Larson... FIX YOUR HANDLES!

Another customer here with a defective handle that fell apart a year after use, making the entire door worse than worthless. Clearly, based on the many, many reviews here, the handle for this product has been designed with a defect, and yet you are unwilling to update your design.

Not an easy hang! Looks like all day!

Product say easy hang! Suppose to install in half the time! Yet right. I opened it up and expected maybe hour or two. Not a chance. Like an all day thing. No holes cut out in the door for the handle, no holes in the side of the door. I want to be able to pull it out of the box with handle installed and slap it on where the old one was. Just sell a left and right one. Don't make me do all the work drilling door handle and the sides. To much work. I can doi it but don;t want to. Just make it bette...

Broke already

Had the door 2 days and the bracket holding the glass in came out of the door so now I can’t use the door after spending $600

Pet access flapper doesn't seal.

I like the door overall and the built-in pet access is convenient. However, I wish Larson had invested a little more in the pet flap design. The flap never fully seals against the frame, which allows flies and other insects to enter the house. With a better seal or magnetic closure, this would be a much stronger product.

Why put a screen at the bottom? If we want the screen open for a fresh air the dog punches it. This design just doesn't make sense. My other Larson door has a window that drops down from the top to allow fresh air at head height and we love IT!! Couldn't wait to get one just like but with a dog door at the bottom. I was very confused as to why the couldn't make the same thing but with the dog door. Can you explain the reason for this design?

Poor Quality

This door is advertised as being able to use the screen in the upper or lower window, but this is NOT true. If you put the screen in the top position, where it makes more sense so the dogs can't jump and rip the screen, it will leak like crazy in the rain. This information is not listed on this web site, or even on Larson's web site. All the customer service at Larson will tell you is that the screen should not be put in the upper position. If so then why advertise it as reversible? Again this ...

Lowes charges you but who knows when you will get

Ordered and paid 21 days ago. Was supposed to have 3 days ago. It has showed in process all this time Called Lowe’s. Was told it was shipping 4 days ago Still doesn’t track and shows delayed If your vendor can’t supply, you shouldn’t be selling it

Just what we needed.

Since moving to Brownsville our pups were missing their doggy door and so were we. This was easy to install and works perfect. It's a plus that you can cover the door when you don't want them either in or out. Be prepared to drill for the door handle, but it was a simple task.
