Returned it the next day

On the first use, the rubber grip came loose from the handle. Then it would not hold except that you tightened the adjustment screw to the point that you could not squeeze the grips together, not even with the aid of a pair of adjustable pliers. I have other clamps that did a better job, but it tried the Kreg Clamp because I have liked their other products.

Krueger Clamp

Great clamp. Have several Kreg products for the pocket hole jointery system. Now have 4 of these clamps. Very good tool. If you do wood working this equipment is top notch stuff.

Nicely complements your Kreg tool

The proprietary Kreg clamps are not absolutely necessary but they do make the use of my new Kreg tool nearly effortless.

Quality clamp

Good surface area for even pressure distribution. Works well. Not crazy about the rubber sleeve over the release, takes getting used to. Deep jaw depth for a variety of needs.

Useful clamp, rubber handle falls off

This Kreg clamp does the job just fine, with one annoying quirk. The rubber cover that goes on the quick release handle keeps slipping off. The cushioning of the cover is nice. I’ll miss it when I eventually lose the the cover.

Good clamp, works great with the Kreg jig

Bought this to work with the pocket hole jig. Kept everything firmly aligned. Only thing keeping from five stars would be if it had the self adjusting feature like the more expensive model. If I was in the wood shop more than just periodically I would probably get the self adjusting. For the once in the while use, this is perfect.

Awesome Clamp! Should have bought it sooner.

I build redwood fences, and use the Kreg HD Jig. This clamp fits into a slot on the jig, so you can place it right on the HD jig for quick 2 x 4 pocket holes, makeing it a one hand operation. This procedure is so fast, it makes assembling gates and cross braces a breeze. I should have bought the HD jig and clamp last year when I started making these fences. Now, I won't do a fence without it. Also, after you drill the pocket holes, use it to clamp the 2 x 4 together flush, for better fit-up.

The clamp is well made and works as advertized.

Great clamp

I use this face clamps to drill pocket holes. I bought a cheap clamp at another home improvement center. After using it on several projects (I build furniture) I got tired of using it (it was hard to adjust and release) and decided to take the plunge. WOW what a difference. This thing is great. It has larger feet (which lessens the likelihood of dents in my furniture) and it holds tighter and is much easier to release. This thing is great. It is worth every penny to me.

One is not enough

Does the job I may try out the automax Line of clamp on my next one. One is definitely not enough if you are using the r3 jig , it's nice to just leave a clamp attached to the jig while working so extra face frame clamps would expedite things and come in handy. I will be getting the 90 degree clamp next .

Kreg 2.75" Clamp Review

This clamp works perfectly with the Kreg R3. The larger end slides into the K3 housing and keeps everything in a nice neat package when clamping and unclamping from your stock. Only draw back is the smaller rubber grip, it tends to slide off rather easily.

Just buy it already!!!

I use my Kreg pocket hole jig all the time and had always used a basic wood clamp with it but noticed it was slipping more than I would like it to when I was drilling. I'm a serious cheapskate so I didn't really want to spend the bucks on this clamp but I really wish I would have. This thing makes it so much quicker and easier to work with the pocket hole jig. Just buy it I promise you won't be sorry. Money well spent.

Good product

Very handy clamp. Think vice grip. Only issue is the rubber cover keeps slipping off. Before next use, a golop of goo should do the trick.

Glad I bouht it

I bit the bullet and paid the price for this but I don't regret it.I use it to hold my mini pocket hole jig in place. It works beautifully.I would have given this five stars but the small blue handle cover keeps coming off (annoying). I definitely would recommend this to anyone.

Great product

I have a project where I'm making some outdoor furniture for our deck. I started it without this clamp. What a mistake. I bought one of the jig kits from the same manufacturer and this clamp and that kit are made for each other. The clamp literally nests perfectly in the jig assembly. Beyond that, this allows the fabrication of flush butt joints using wood, which can be tricky without the right clamp or set of clamps. Torquing screws wants to torque the joint and this clamp prevents that. ...

A good addition to the Kreg r-3.

I bought this clamp to use with my Kreg r-3 jig while I was making book shelves out of 3/4 inch plywood. I have used a standard C-clamp in the past to hold the jig in place. This was so much faster and easier.
