I was told countless times by friends I would need a jackhammer to take out a small backdoor deck that was about 12" thick. I though instead of spending $80 i could spend $40 and give it a shot. After a few hours of relentless torture on on this sledge it held together and the slab is gravel. The beveled back was nice to chase cracks with and segment it out.

Excellent Hammer

Love the angled head. Used it to bust up tile for reno project. Much more efficient than using a traditional flat head.

the Handel is real comfortable. great hammer for doing demo would recommend it to anyone

Solid hammer. The upper area of the handle is slippery allowing one hand to slide down to the grippy part at the bottom. I do wish the flare at the end was slightly wider. The head has a triangular large surface on one side and a circular round striking surface on the other so you can choose depending on the job. With this hammer you'll have the power to do some serious work.

Good sledge

Bought this for an interior demo I had and I really liked the grip on it. Made it easy for swinging

Handle cracked right below the head

Had this for about a month. Used for splitting wood, got through a bit less than half a cord and then noticed the handle had cracked. Who knows, maybe I got a lemon, however, I think I'll go with a wood handle next time
