A Very Good Portable Light
Would RecommendThe fact that alkaline or other AAA batteries work well in it is very much apprecited. Added a lanyard to the clip which made it easy to determine the front from the back. It also put the switch / area light on the 'bottom'. This puts the index finger in position to activate the switch and keeps the area light from blinding me. As others stated, it could use a magnet, and maybe the ability to focus, but it gives out a lot of light and stands on end well.
Not a good choice for recurrent battery charging
Battery charged for first 4-5 times…… but after that- would not hold a charge. This is my first Kobalt flashlight- so wasn’t sure what to expect…… but would have been better to pay the $4 more for a known and proven brand

Would RecommendThis is a very bright flashlight! It's battery doesn't last very long, so its not a great work light, but great for short-term use in dark areas. The flashlight does seem to charge relatively fast, so this isn't as big an issue when power is available. There are two lights on this unit, one for distance, one for wide work. Both lights, even though they are LED, get very hot with extended use. Because of this, I don't leave this flashlight on when unattended.

Flashlight provides an intense light stream, it seems this flashlight is not 1000 lumens but 3000 lumens! 🤩 It's a little inconvenient having to cycle through the 5 modes just to turn it off.
