Flashlight has some nice features. Package says virtually indestructible and I would agree with that. I dropped the flash down a steep wooden staircase and there was no damage at all and no pieces fell off. Says it’s waterproof up to 3.28’, so I wanted to test that but it was to cold to get into the pool. So I filled a container full of water and dropped the flashlight in. Bright and tough

I ordered this flashlight to replace an old mag light I keep in my truck and all I can say is WOW this thing is bright. It seems to be built pretty well as I’ve already managed to drop it a couple times without issue. It has different modes for adjusting lumens, sos, etc. I highly recommend this light.

Solid built, bright, heavy

The Kobalt “virtually indestructible” flashlight is a serious piece of equipment. It’s made of aluminum, covered with solid plastic, and constructed in a way that protects the lenses and the switch from drops (which can happen – it’s 1.2 lb heavy with the batteries, 6xAA, installed). I was looking for a flashlight for my home, car, and boat, and I bought three of these total, after trying one. Why, first, the packaging is great - easy to open - see pictures, no need to cut ones hand with a scissor on the blister pack - innovation starts with packaging! Awesome light!

Love this light! EXTREMELY bright and has three different light settings - Bright - Dim - Strobe. It's a comfortable size, and seems very durable with the rubber coating on the outside. Packaging was great, loved the cardboard back for accessing the batteries and opening the casing. Very impressed!

Brightness Brightness

Nothing to not like about this awesome flashlight.

Keep extra batteries on hand.

I use the product when I walk my dog at night, at the most twice a night between a quarter and half mile at one time. It is used to let traffic know I am out there on a very dark road and to look at some of the wildlife at night. Problem is the batteries are gone after the second triip.

Good light at reduced price

I have a large collection of lights. This one has several modes and can go from wide flood to more narrow or a combination. It is not a spotlight, but it is so bright that is lights up a large area better than any of my powerful spotlights. At the current reduced price, it is a steal for the power. Recommended.
