What Customers Are Saying
Customers overwhelmingly praise this 100-foot tape measure for its reliability, durability, and exceptional value. The smooth extension and retraction, clear markings, and robust metal construction stand out as key strengths. Reviewers highlight the reliable locking mechanism, straight tape at full extension, and quiet, tangle-free rewind. The thoughtful design—including the hook's grip teeth, belt clip, and carabiner attachment—earns consistent praise. Many compare it favorably to premium alternatives and note its affordability relative to performance. A few report isolated issues with handle durability or rust in damp conditions, but these concerns are vastly outweighed by widespread satisfaction and repeat-purchase intent.

Would RecommendMy really old 100ft tape finally bit the dust. This new one is terrific! More solid case and crank! Tape is stringer & more flexible. I’ll probably not have to buy another.

Would RecommendIt is small and compact for a 100 foot tape. This makes it easy to store in my tool box because it takes up less room. Works great.

Great replacement
Would RecommendOur other tape (same style different brand) was used a good dozen times per day for about 4 years. We got a cheaper version as a replacement, and it lasted two days. This feels solid, rolls in/out easy, and I expect it to last for a long time to come.

A New 100' Tape
Would RecommendMy old 100' steel tape finally failed. I shopped a bit and found the Kobalt at Lowe's and bought it. It went into use immediately and was a pleasure to use. We set up a site for a 80' by 60' party tent perfectly!

Excellent Tape
Would RecommendI bought this to help me with some yard projects. Love the extra hook compared to my prior tape (lost in a fire), and the geared crank allows for rapid retrieval.
