What Customers Are Saying
This diamond-coated drill bit performs well for drilling holes in ceramic, glass, and tile materials, but requires careful technique. It works best with water to keep the bit cool and clear debris, though dry drilling is more difficult and can cause faster wear. The bit can be challenging to start and keep steady, especially on smooth surfaces, but using a jig or angling the bit initially can help. The bit's durability varies, with some customers reporting multiple uses and others finding it wore out or bent after just a few uses, particularly on thicker or harder materials. Overall, with the right technique and patience, this diamond bit can create clean, chip-free holes in a variety of ceramic and tile surfaces, though for more demanding applications, a higher-quality bit may be required.

Don’t bother with this tool
Would Not RecommendJunk. Bought this to drill holes in porcelain tile. Less than halfway thru the first hole the bit had bent enough to make it useless. Took a long time to drill as well. Got a Lenox diamond bit and it went thru the next 3 holes like it was wood. Get the brand name!
Does not bite into granite like others al
Would Not RecommendProduct will not bite into granite like others and is slightly out of round causing it to walk and damage product being attempted to make a hole

Worked !
Would RecommendHad to drill holes in tile to install towel rods , towel hook and medicine cabinets 10 holes in all. It did a good job it took some time you have to take your time and don’t rush it. I found out it cuts better if you keep spraying water on and in the hohe so as to not heat up the saw to much. I think it has a few more holes left in it’s life so for the fair price it’s well worth it. Also make sure you clean out the hole in the saw (bit) and it will go a little easy.
Highly recommend for glass tile
Would RecommendWorks as advertised! Used this drill bit to install a glass panel into our walk-in shower. We have glass tile and it worked with relative ease drilling 4 holes. I suggest watching some YouTube vids to familiarize yourself with the process as it takes a lot of patience when drilling through glass without cracking it.

Doesn't work well with porcelain tile
Would Not RecommendUsed on porcelain tile and literally had to wear a hole thru; only one hole per drill bit and it bent. Recommend Milwaukee; cuts much better with porcelain

It works!
Would RecommendHandy person but no experience cutting into countertops before. Was able to get perfect cut into a quartz countertop. Angled going in, straightened out, stopped intermittently to dip in water and used the shop vac to grab dust. Got through about 1.5 inches of quartz in 10 minutes of trying.
Disappointed in this product
Would Not RecommendI bought this bit to use for the two holes in my new walk-in shower for the main showerhead and hand-held showerhead. The tile involved is polished porcelain about 3/8 in. thick. All I can say is that it did ultimately get the job done, even wetted, but I believe that it's worn out. The process was very slow. I needed to finish the holes on the back side of the tiles by using my 4-1/2 in. grinder with a diamond blade.
