Would Not Recommendthis is a very hard bit for DIY'rs to use. there is no center drill which allows the drill to just skate across the tile. A small center drill would be most helpful to guide. I realized that in order to use you must use angle the bit and gradually turn it up straight. Most will find this difficult to use.

Would RecommendThis Kolbalt Hole Saw does its job! I used it to drill through my granite counter top to add a new soap dispenser and it cut out the whole block perfectly and with little effort. Now know this, it takes some amount of physical force to cut through granite; but this little hole saw is clustered with diamonds at the mouth end to do its job timelessly. This bit wanders a lot, you have to really brace yourself and introduce it to the tile very slowly. I needed to drill 8 holes, it did 3 OK and barely got through the 4th. My wife used a spray bottle to keep the bit wet while I drilled. I will buy 2 more bits for the remaining 4 holes.
