Ratings & Reviews for Kobalt 100 -Piece Chrome Household Tool Set with Hard Case

Tools great, tool box very weak

Purchase a 305 set like this for my son for Christmas last year. Before summer rolled around he said the box was already breaking. He isn't a heavy user of tools just tinkering with his car and a few other projects. The tools have been great but forget trying to carry them around. If you decide to purchase the tools be prepared to store them in another tool box.

nice tools, horrible tool box

the tools are great, but the box drawers do not open easily.

Great collection of tools

This 100 piece set has most of the tools you will ever need, and all in one place.

Awesome tool box

Tool box works great for all the honey do list that I have . And working on my truck !!!! Great quality tools

DONT BUY

Had it a week or so. Not oly do I hate the fact the drawers dont lock when the lid is closed. So drawers fall out easily. The Hadle broke only after being picked up oh about 5 times. Love the tools inside just needs a way better box

Perfect match for the Kobalt 305 piece set

Perfect match for the Kobalt 305 piece set. I have both kits in the trunk of my vehicle so that I am ready for anything that happens. Really handy to have for whatever gets thrown your way. In the past few years, I have basically gone KOBALT KRAZY and added these to my existing Craftsman sets. I found the Kobalt kit to be More Thoughtful with the collection of tools than the Craftsman kits are. Add this to round out your complete portable set of tools.

Perfect for Weekend Wrencher

Bought with great discount. Full price? I probably wouldnt buy it. However, it has almost everything a weekemd wrencher ever need. Great starter tool set.

Great idea, bad implementation

I have a "blue shop". Blower, weed eater, chainsaw, air compressor, various tools. This was a great idea to save time and space in a travel ready box. Since the sockets are hexagonal, they don't work well with square heads. It couldn't be too hard to make them like every other socket is made. The back of the top drawer doesn't have the snap in of the shorter sockets. This leads to the drawer being stuck regularly. This 2 shortcomings detract from what would be a 5 star idea. All other Kobalt p...

Nice tools...pathetic case

Great array of good tools. Box was barely functional and broke very quickly. Was quite upsetting.

Great tool kit!

This kit really has a lot. I was really only looking for an 18mm socket and wrench as my sets didn't have either. This was on sale and only cost a bit more than the two sets I would have required to get the tools I needed. Great assortment of tools and a nice box so far. Doesn't appear too sturdy of a box but if handled carefully it should be ok.

Great set cheap case

Overall the set is good but the case is very cheaply made.

NOT EXACTLY WORTH THE PRICE THOUGHT IT LOCKED SO DRAWERS WOULD NOT SLIDE OUT QUALITY NOT AS GOOD AS CRAFTSMAN AND PRICE LITTLE LOWER
