This set holds everything snapped in place and organized. Well crafted and pretty much everything I need for most projects.

Great product for the price

Always been a fan of kobalt tools from the power tools to the wheel barrel, axe, hatchet and other items I have. This kit had what I needed and then some.

Nice Socket Set

Good assortment of sockets with different depths. Wrenches feel and look like good quality. The carrying case is very handy, everything seems to fit snugly and is easily accessible. The blue and red bands to differentiate between metric and imperial are also very handy. Some of the measurements on the sockets are tough to read, you have to look really close sometimes to read them.

Quality Set of Tools

After buying several smaller sets of sockets, I wanted something more complete and with it's own case. The Kobalt 138 Piece kit is a comprehensive and quality socket set with few minor issues. The perfect set

When I got this product in the mail it was heavy a lot heavier than I expected.. in a good way. When I opened it up I noticed that the box was very secure and had very sturdy latches on it. Latches on tool kits are super important to me I hate when they break or fall apart. They seem like they're going to stay AND be functioning for a very long time. Great Starter Set - Includes Metric & SAE

This is by far the greatest set I've come across. It's packaged in a space saving, well organized case, and all the tools are well made. PROs: You get 6 & 12 point sockets, amazing set for small jobs or as a starter set, comes with a great warranty, both metric and SAE, easy to use. CONs Not good for large jobs, not sure how these would hold up with heavy use.

Portable Tool Kit

I have purchased Cobalt hand tools before, mostly screwdrivers and such and have found the quality to be very good. I had two (2) tips break in the first year on one combination screwdriver. When I stopped by Lowes to get replacement tips they replaced the entire screwdriver set with a new, and better model that is much more stout than the one I had. Gotta love that customer service! Very Handy!

Very handy for most applications. I am a contractor and need different sizes for different things and this was the answer. The carrying case is really convent to store all the pieces in along with being able to carry it around. Built well and with the warranty, how can you go wrong. Easy to read sizing on the side along with color codes for metric and sae. Great product and would highly recommend this to other people.

Not too shabby Kobalt... not too shabby

Overall this is a great set. There are plenty of hardware store sets that'll include about a quarter of what's in here, but you'll probably end up not having what you need down the road. This seems to be a pretty comprehensive set that doesn't break the bank. Excellent Starter Tool Set

This kit comes with enough tools to start off any tool set. Comes with just enough quality components to get you started and you can build from there. I decided on this set to fill in what I was missing. I was tired of having missing sockets from various other kits so now everything is in one package in a nice plastic case. The ratchets seemed to be very high quality and the fit/finish of everything looks like it will last a lifetime. Hopefully this will be a set I can pass onto my children.

Best of both worlds!

At last I have a complete set of SAE and metric sockets and wrenches! On top of that they come with a molded carrying case to keep track of everything. Who knows how many sockets and wrenches I have lost throughout the years. Plus, they have the quality and reputation of Kobalt tools. I'll get a lot of use out of these in years to come.

Finally!! A Tool Set that gets it!!!

Having "turned wrenches" for more years than I care to count...or mention, it's great to finally see a tool set that gets it!! High Quality Set - Highly recommend.

I have been using Kobalt tools for years, and have not needed to invoke the lifetime hassle free warranty. Having owned other big box store/retail brand tools, and having those fail on me. Short on socket accessories

I chose this set primarily for the socket set rather than the additional items that are included. I found the laser etched markings to be very well pronounced enabling easy location of the size needed to perform tasks, But for some reason the spark plug sockets included are not laser etched like all the others. A Sturdy long time investment

Well, when I opened up the sturdy plastic kit, I was like a kid with a new toy. When I picked up the 1/4 inch rachet, old Mac tool whispered in my ear. Handy tool kit

I recently bought a used car. I am not showing off but it is along while since I bought a car that is 12 years old with over 100.000 miles on it. The intention is that this tool kit, which is a great mechanics kit, is going to be used to help maintain the car. It is made to Kobalt's usual high standard and it all packs away nicely in a hard case. There seems to everything I could possibly use for the job. Obviously it can and will also get used for jobs around the house. Highly recommended.

This 138 piece has it all!

There are so many different tools that you should not have a need for much else. With the variety and different sizes of tools, you should be able to work on most anything from easy to harder jobs. The carry case is very sturdy. The color codes make it easier to spot which tool you need to grab.
