Ratings & Reviews for Kobalt 20 -Piece Standard (SAE) and Metric Mechanics Tool Set with Hard Case

Good tool for emergency repair in cars.

Very good. Good case. It contains the most common sizes for quick repair.

The packaging ruined the kit for my needs.

I have many sockets and sockets sets in the garage. I however wanted a smaller set I could keep in the house without going through all the sets in the garage and assembling with a ratchet and extension etc. This set looked like it would be filling that need. The issues isn't with the tools themselves which I found to be decent. It was that the box they are kept in holds the sockets so tight that I have get a screwdriver to put inside the socket a pry them out. (Look at the pics of the box interi...

Good compact set

The set is very compact and is very good for smaller compact spaces. Would not recommend for all jobs as it could damage ratchet with heavier loads.

Good 1/4” set

Socket set has SAE and Metric, ratchet works well, case is too big and a waste of plastic.

Good item to have

Having both SAE and Metric types with a storage box, is perfect. Easy box to store and bring along on the job. The product itself, is affordable and gets the job done.

Excellent socket set

Good quality quarter inch socket set it did everything I bought it for.

Kobalt Tough

Compact and efficient...I have all Kobalt tools bought over the years...they are rugged and last!

Nice little Kit

Great little kit that I caught on sale. high quality with a lifetime warranty. Most tools I have now are Craftsman or Kobalt.

The closest thing I could find

I would have liked to find a set like this for a little less money, but I couldn't, so I guess I can't really complain about the price. It's a complete set like I was looking for and I really like the case. Anything cheaper either doesn't contain a case or is incomplete.
