Used this to remove an anode from a water heater. Used a breaker bar and pulled very hard so it is sturdy

Hot Water Heater Element difficult to remove?

This socket made my water heater element replacement a walk-in-the-park. There was insufficient room to get a good grip on the element, but with this socket the removal and replacement took only minutes. AND, this socket was most reasonably priced.

Great Socket

Did exactly what I needed done. worked very well.Had to remove the 2" ball from my ball mount to get the rise from it instead of the drop position. Ball factory torqued to 250 ft. lbs.used to retorque after reversing ball.

Good enough

I bought this 1 1/2 inch socket so I could replace a heating element on a hot water tank. It served that purpose well. Obviously, it is far more durable and better made than the flimsy tool that you can buy specifically for water Heating elements and I will likely find other uses for it, even though I don't run across many 1 1/2 inch nuts. If I were a mechanic looking for a good socket, I would very likely buy an American-made product rather than this, but for the do-it-yourselfer, tinkerer, an...
