Great product!!

Husband lives that when he's working on a vehicle that he can have it right there with him under the hood or wherever.

Magnetic Steel

The good news is they fit in the tool chest drawer nicely. They are of good quality. However, these are made to hold larger 1/2 sockets. You will not be able to use these in a drawer that measures 1 1/2 inches or lower because the sockets wont fit.

Does the job

They work. Wish the magnetic strip was just a little stronger, but they stay attached for the most part.

Missing pieces

I received this order and called Lowes immediately because one of the trays was missing. Talked to customer service and she said to wait until the 2nd pkg arrived. I did and called again because it was still missing. She said someone would get back with me. No return phone call. Called again and was told someone would return my call in 24 hrs. No phone call. Tray is still missing and no customer service.

This portion of the order was to include Item 5 of item #2884723 Model #81692. These were in fact missing.

Versatile way to organize sockets

I liked that they were magnetic and rubberized. I used these to organize and group together an old Craftsmen socket set that the plastic box was falling apart on. These work great for organizing the many sockets from the box and separating them by metric/SAE and drive size. The only issue I found was they did not hold the deepwell sockets standing up so I laid them down in the trays and they worked fine.

Does what other organizers don’t

I found this useful for oddball sockets and other hard to organize tools. I like the non- mating plastic coated magnets

I have two of thee Kolbalt Rubber-Coated Magnetic Steel Accessory units to keep all of my loose sockets. works great and it makes it easy to find my sockets.

Good stick and handy size

This product is so helpful in keeping the sockets I use most at hand. I love that it not only attaches to my toolbox, but that it will stick to my car and lawnmower when I need it. I can easily take a range of sizes and not have to be going back and forth when I have the wrong size. It sticks very well to the side and most sockets stuck right where I put them, only one started to slide down a bit. It even fits the largest socket that I have - 1 1/4"! Great rollaway tool box addition!

This tray turned out to be for a larger set of sockets than I currently own. Nevertheless, I tried it out with one of the sets I have. The magnets held the sockets in relatively securely;; I say relatively because my sockets were too small and did not fit over the magnets optimally, so when I turned the organizer upside down and shook it, they rattled like they were about to fall out. Not Worth It

This product seems useful but is far too oversized for any smaller or standard size sockets. I found it much more useful to just hold loose screws/nails on my workbench. As you can see in the photos there is too much gap between smaller (under 1") sockets and now the sizes aren't readable. I will just continue to keep my sockets in the original case where they are labeled and identifiable. Don't bother with this.

KOBALT 12 Inch Magnetic Socket Organizer

I just received my new KOBALT 12 Inch Magnetic Socket Organizer. This Socket Organizer is something I really need and am using. If you review my photos you can see that the Magnet is strong enough so I can attach it to my steel tool box with all of my loose tall sockets. Now I can find and quickly pick the sockets that I need. What is really nice it that this socket organizer has a hassle free LIFETIME Guarantee. It also holds 1/2 and 3/8 inch drive sockets. Great socket organizer.

This is a great product. It’s magnetic to hold sockets in place. It could be a little bigger to hold more sockets but it does the job. It’s great to pack around if you do not know the exact size of sock you need. It will not let me add pictures for this review. I guess it’s bug to work out on this new application.

Strong magnetic and very easy to use and hold all

This is great. I am able to keep track of all my important sockets and such. It’s magnetic and also holds my important wrenches and square tool. I can also attach it to my tool cabinet on the front door with its built in magnet. Every time I needed a socket it was easy to find. I can change out certain sockets or tools as I need them. I have used it with my metal tool box as it is secure with the powerful magnet. Even when wet it holds strong. All my sockets are steel so no problem.
