Would RecommendI had this hammer for several months (replaced a 20 year old Estwing I had) before I realized what the notch was for. I realized it had magnet, but only after reading the reviews here did I realize it is for setting a nail for the initial drive before finishing it off. VERY handy! Well made product and pleased to have it in my tool box.
